Antediluvian Cultures

In past blog posts, I have written about the Pre-Flood world and its environment. But this post is going to be about the possible Antediluvian cultures. Now, just as a brief recap: the antediluvian people lived in a true eutopia, with life thriving and growing at amazing rates--vegetation producing thousands of fruits covered the earth thanks to a crystalline, cold-hydrogen firmament around the earth's atmosphere. Radio waves from stars emanated through space, beaming through the firmament and reverberating off the sand, water and vegetation, producing, literally, a beautiful symphony of music at night and morning. The sunlight was filtered of radiation and ultraviolet rays, and brightened the world with pink/magenta light during both night and day. If one looked up at night, they would see the stars, shining in full color because of the firmament. Constellations that we can no longer see were possibly visible than because of the firmament. Life on earth, including Man, enjoyed amazing longevity, incredibly increased strength, 14% higher oxygen level, and larger size. This was a paradise in the very definition of the word.

But let me get back to the subject: antediluvian cultures. Now, obviously, because of the Flood, nothing of the antediluvian world remains as proof of past cultures, but because of the bible, we have a pretty good idea of what it was like. Trade and civilization was probably mostly land-based due to the fact that the continents were connected, and there was one land mass and one ocean. However, there were surely boats, because God spoke to Noah using the word for boat--and these were possibly used for trade, exploration and transport through rivers and lakes. Because of massive marine life (enter possible 'Leviathan' and other sea 'monsters') there was probably a great risk to oceanic means of travel. Yet, the land-based exploration and settlement was probably not ideal either (enter dinosaurs, giant bugs and animals, and possibly Dragons). But through all of these risks, mankind survived, building cities, towns and villages with whatever advanced tools and knowledge they had. The people were literally divided into two groups--Cain's people, the more numerous, were the more unrighteous, but most of Adam and Eve's sons' descendants still worshiped God for a time. Enoch, Seth, Adam and Eve, and the others of that line were the 'righteous'. They pursued the Lord with great passion and zeal, and taught their knowledge of the Creation with their descendants. Thus, there were probably only two main branches of culture and civilization--the Righteous and the Unrighteous. As said before, there is no remaining evidence of antediluvian culture, but if you study ancient history, you will see how the some of the remnants of knowledge of the Old World survived the Flood. Examples? Stonehenge, a construction made to chart the heavenly bodies of space. The pyramids--were they more than just tombs? could they have been used to tell time by marking the shadow of the sun's progress? The Tower of Babel--was it based off some forerunners that were made as some kind of observatories of sky and land? There are so many examples to ask mental questions of--and when we look at ancient history, it is obvious that our ancestors knew something we don't.
